Christmas cards have started creeping onto supermarket shelves, Roses and Quality Street tins are beginning to bulge into the shopping aisles and the evenings are drawing in - there's no escape folks, Christmas is most certainly on its way.

The producers of the smash-hit ‘Nativity! The Musical’, have been auditioning local school children to take part in their show at Milton Keynes Theatre this year and are thrilled to announce their search is over, as a group of talented children from Milton Keynes have been cast and will appear in the production, which comes from Wed 14 – Sun 18 November. Break a leg kids!,I am sure you will all shine!

Before Christmas though, the Parks Trust promises a 'spooktacular' Halloween as they announce tickets for the 2018 Spooky Halloween Walks are now on sale. But be quick, I am told the they sell out fast...

If you're hosting your own Halloween party, we have some great recipes courtesy of Waitrose - eyeball cocktails (not real eyes, of course!) and ghostly bananas, which are my personal favourite - they look great! And will be the talking point of any party.
