From the Editor

Well that came around quick, didn't it!? How on earth is it Christmas already? More to the point, how on earth is it almost 2019...

Some amazing news from Pulse Magazine HQ - we've been nominated for a prestigious business award. Namely, the SME MK & Buckinghamshire Business Awards in the Best Customer Service category. To say we are thrilled is an absolute understatement; we are ecstatic! You see, the award isn't an award we entered ourself in to - we were nominated by our customers. How cool is that?! We have until the end of November to gain more votes and are notified in early December if we have made it through to the finals and to the glitzy award evening. Everything is crossed!

So this month there is no escape - unless you have ear muffs and blinkers that is, - in the words of Noddy Holder IT'S CHRISTMAAAAAAAAS!!!!!

Northampton is now alive with Christmas lights and feeling very Christmassy and there are loads of events planned in the town Centre throughout December: A schedule of music on the market will add a seasonal soundtrack to each Saturday in the lead up to Christmas. Local choirs and bands sing your favourite festive choirs and pop tunes on December 1st and the popular Frost Fair and Christmas Parade continue festivities on Sunday, 2nd December. Stalls offering unique gifts, handmade decorations and festive food and drink will open on the Market Square. If you have little ones the Igloo Cinema is open in the Grosvenor Centre until December 22nd showing short family films, I am sure you will all enjoy.

Northamptonshire Health Charitable Fund are once again making collections of Christmas presents to give to those who will stay in Northampton Hospital over the Christmas period. I am sure all gifts will receive a very warm welcome, so if you can, please give to this wonderful charity - read more on page 21.

Laura Malpas is out and about in Brixworth this month, learning all about their Angle Saxon church, which even has ties to the humble Christmas tree.

I'd like to take this opportunity to wish our readers, advertisers and contributors a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

If you are looking to advertise an event or your business, or send inspiring editorial for consideration in a future edition, please get in touch - we're now working from January 2019 onwards.

Have a fabulous Christmas and New Year and I'll see you all on the other side!
